BLOC, at first glance is a slight departure back into the ordinary "style wise" for me. The reason being that I wanted to make something in solid timber and use the material to the fullest, in experimenting with turning and shaping, timber is lost and wasted away. Therefore this set makes the most of the natural material with little waste.
BLOC, as the name suggests, is rock solid, a feat that is not easy to acquire, as the assembly and disassembly means that there can be no glue in the joints between the legs and the top, combined with three drawers on either side of the table it meant that considerable thought and development had to go into the “temporary assembly and disassebly” details of the table and benches.

Both table and benches come as "Knock Down" and are made in solid (FSC) white oak and finished in a natural Danish oil, in fact only the drawer bottoms and bench bottoms are veneered, everything else is 100% solid.
